The Bridal Show Reimagined
My head is still spinning a bit from this weekend’s first ever Love Lab Event
For all of you who may be seeing the photos and chatter proceeding or following this event - if you didn’t have the pleasure of attending you may still be wondering:
What is Love Lab?!
I’m going to offer up a bit of an explanation now having had the privilege of witnessing and photographing this inaugural event.
Close your eyes for a second and picture yourself in what comes to mind when you think “Bridal Show”
Now I invite you to get rid of the booths, horrendous carpet, claustrophobia-causing-walls, endless awkward conversations… and transition instead to a vision of custom installs, an open tent with the sea breeze, four exquisitely designed tablescapes with fresh florals, unique menus, creative table settings, chair rental options, custom gifting and calligraphy examples, bar setups and so so much more. Basically, your Pinterest Wedding Board except IRL and you can actually move around and speak with people who can bring your wedding dreams and vision to life? Yes please.
A New England Bridal Show Reimagined
The intention behind the event, dreamed up and executed flawlessly by Chelsea (Everthine Bridal Boutique & Covet Bridal) and Chelsea (Pearl Weddings + Events), was to foster and encourage comfortable interactions between the engaged couple and luxury wedding vendors in New England. Hosted at the Point at Norwalk Cove the event was hopping with live entertainment, a painter, make your own bouquet station, signature drinks and snacks, a swag bag for all those in attendance, and the freedom to move around as you please - no more bouncing from booth to booth - an actual chance to walk into a showroom of real wedding inspiration that you can touch and feel.
Now I know what you’re thinking… genius right?! It was so neat to watch this concept come to life and interact with joyful and talented east coast wedding vendors that were ready to showcase to couples what is possible with a team of skilled individuals by your side during your wedding day.
I’ll leave you with this before we hop into the photos - the next time you see the words “Love Lab” on social media go ahead and secure your ticket without hesitation because you’ll want to experience this magic in person. Whether you’re planning a Connecticut Wedding, NY or NYC Wedding, celebrating in Hudson Valley, New England, or anywhere on the East Coast.. the inspiration you’ll obtain from attending this newly reimagined Bridal Show is absolutely worth the visit and we can’t wait to see you there!
